Gyanama runs on the web as well as on phones. Each school gets its own web address, such as yourschool.gyanama.in, with its own name and logo. Principals, coordinators, managers and teachers sign in there for the work that needs a big screen: fees, the monthly attendance register, report cards, transfer certificates and timetables.
Which work is done on the web app?
Fee management, attendance register exports, report cards, transfer certificates and printing the exam timetable all happen on the web app.
Everything else, from attendance to homework and announcements, works on both the web and the Android and iOS app.
How does fee management work on the web?
The office sets up fee structures with terms, raises invoices, adds charges and discounts, and records cash, cheque or UPI payments. Every payment gets a numbered PDF receipt.

What can the office export?
The monthly attendance register for a section or a class, as PDF or Excel, in A4 or A3. All sections can be downloaded together as one ZIP file.
How are report cards made?
Teachers enter marks, Gyanama grades them from A1 to E, and the school downloads report cards as PDFs for one student, a class or the whole school. Report cards use the school's own template and logo.

Does each school get its own web address?
Yes. Each school has its own subdomain, such as yourschool.gyanama.in, with the school's name and logo.
Who uses the web app?
Principals, coordinators, managers and teachers. Students and families can also sign in on the web.
Can we import our timetable from Excel?
Yes. Timetables can be imported and exported as Excel files. For students, staff and classes, send us your Excel sheets and our team imports them.
Can we print transfer certificates?
Yes. The web app makes a numbered transfer certificate as a PDF, with dates also written in words.
