What does a principal see first thing in the morning?
Today's attendance for the school, students absent, absentee calls made and staff present. Sections that have not marked attendance yet are flagged.
How does the principal know which families were called?
Every AI call is logged against the student with the reason the parent gave, how the parent responded and the follow-up, such as a callback by the class teacher.
How does the principal spot students who are slipping?
Every night Gyanama scores each student and class from attendance (35%), marks (30%), homework (20%) and behaviour (15%), and lists the reasons. Teachers get a list of students at risk.
What stays in the school’s control?
The school sets its attendance limits, call hours are 10 am to 6 pm, there is a daily call limit of 50 by default, and numbers on the Do Not Call list are never called.

Can a principal use Gyanama on the phone?
Yes. The principal home screen, call logs, Health Score, exams, gate passes and forms are in the Android and iOS app. Fees and report card PDFs are on the web app.
Can coordinators and managers sign in too?
Yes. Principal, coordinator and manager each have their own access.
